For a long time I thought Fall was my favourite season. Now don’t get me wrong Fall is awesome. You have sweaters, boots, pumpkins; all that fun stuff, but as a mother it now just reminds me of impending doom: Winter. The horrible season where getting outside is torturous and your toddler is constantly stir crazy. Now Spring, ah Spring; it’s full of flowers and new beginnings. And yes there’s rain, but honestly getting out in the rain is much easier than ten feet of snow in -40 degree weather. Spring also means dresses and I love how easy a good dress is at the height of Spring. The weather is warm enough to just throw it on and go. A motherhood must, am I right?

When PinkBlush offered me a couple of new dresses for Spring I couldn’t say no. It was honestly hard to choose but I ended up with these two beauties and I couldn’t be happier. The first dress is a gorgeous mauve colour with the prettiest embroidery at the top. I loved its shape with the empire waist. A very flattering and easy shape to wear everyday. It would also be perfect for a baby bump (no I’m not pregnant) which is no surprise considering PinkBlush carries some amazing maternity clothing. It’s also fully lined making this dress perfect for just throwing on and walking out the door.

The second PinkBlush dress is this gorgeous off the shoulder number with a smocked bodice. The smocking is brilliant! If you’ve ever worn an off the shoulder piece you know how hard it is to get it to stay, but with the smocking this dress stays perfectly still. I also love the gingham pattern and have been finding myself really drawn to it this Spring. This dress is a stunner and I’m already planning to wear it to my friend’s wedding this weekend.

There you have it, my two favourite Spring dresses from PinkBlush. One is the perfect everyday dress and the other the perfect occasion dress. Although, to be honest, you’ll totally find me rocking both any day. Now, if you haven’t checked out PinkBlush I highly suggest it. You guys know that I don’t promote anything unless I totally love it. They’re very affordable, I’ve loved every piece I’ve ever received, and most of their pieces are perfect for transitioning from pregnancy to motherhood which makes them so versatile.
